Engaging the Campus
We love Shippensburg University and desire to make a visible difference in the quality of student life. We seek to find ways to serve and improve the campus community. We also provide “Investigative Bible Discussions” for anyone interested in learning more about Jesus Christ. We welcome the questions, objections, and struggles of people honestly searching for the truth. We are committed to responding with honesty and compassion rather than hostility and condescension. Skeptics, seekers, and the curious are all welcome.
Exploring the Bible
In the Bible we learn about the beauty of God’s character, the life-changing power of His promises, the freedom of forgiveness, and the adventure of living in relationship with Him. We exist to assist people interested in learning more about the essence of Christianity, which is not found in morality or philosophy but in the story of the historical person, Jesus Christ.
Experiencing Redemptive Relationships
If you’re looking for the perfect group to get involved with on campus, don’t come to us! But if you want to experience how the gospel of Jesus Christ can heal relationships, spur people toward authentic community, provide ample opportunities to practice forgiveness, and restore broken people, then we are the group for you. Our desire is to be a people increasingly characterized by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Captivating the Heart
Everyone is captivated by something, whether it is approval, success, or intimacy. We believe those various “captivations” will leave us restless until the one we were made for — God — captivates us. We were designed to find our fulfillment, rest, meaning, and value in the person of God himself. Christianity is about a paradigm shift to a new central captivation with the beauty of Jesus Christ.
PrimeTime
Wednesdays · 7:00 PM
Old Main Chapel
PrimeTime is our weekly large group event — musical worship, teaching from the Bible, small group discussion, and fun. It's open to the whole campus, including seekers, skeptics, Christians and the curious. Join us as we explore the Bible and learn about Jesus.
Foundations
Wednesdays · 4-5pm
CUB 119
Foundations is a group for first-years and any new students to DCF. For Christians it's an opportunity to learn the essential parts of following Jesus and deepen your faith. If you wouldn't identify as a Christian you are still welcome — it's a great introduction to the teachings of Jesus.
Investigative Bible Discussions
Who was Jesus? What does the Bible really say about him? There's a wide array of opinions out there — was he a philosopher, moral teacher, religious activist, political reformer, the Lord and Savior? Come take a look at the real Jesus in the historical documents. See what we're offering this semester on our Instagram, or send us a message to get connected.
HDISMB — How Do I Study My Bible?
A group for students who aren't content with opening their Bible and staying confused — for those who have a hunger to deeply read, understand and apply it. Runs as a four-week series, starting in October.

The vision of the DCF Leadership Team is to actively fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) that Jesus has entrusted to us. We want to BE disciples who MAKE disciples.
Application to LT is open to all active members of DCF who have at least one semester of involvement. We are glad that you’re interested! Jesus says in Matthew 9:37-38, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” The resource that is in short supply for the mission of making disciples is laborers. Thank you for considering becoming a laborer for Jesus with us!
